Bayonet THIRDLINE is a load-bearing belt of double-layer construction with reinforced webbing, prepared to carry equipment stably in the hip axis. The AustriAlpin COBRA D-RING 18 kN buckle works in a two-latch system and does not allow unfastening when one of the hooks is not tightened, which organizes the closing procedure and increases the repeatability of the fit.
The profiled geometry of the buckle does not create point pressures in the seated position, and the low built-in design makes it easier to work in the vehicle and under layers of clothing. The 45mm width holds the belt plane under load, reducing "pumping" of the holster and pouches during position changes. The contact surfaces are smoothly finished to reduce friction in the waist belt during prolonged wear.
Adjustments are made by interlacing the webbing in the buckle; micro-adjustments can be made without tools and without loosening the entire girth. The D-ring provides a fixed point for clipping in a lanyard, safety line or organizing adapters, which simplifies the construction of kits with belay elements within a limited working range.
The uniform tread of the webbing helps maintain consistent spacing between modules on either side of the hip. Configuration for weapon and tool attachments remains low-profile, and webbing routing maintains grip symmetry. Compatible holsters can be selected to expand the carrier, maintaining a straight axis of retrieval and predictable access.
