LionSteel - SR Flipper Aluminum Black / Black Blade Folding Knife - SR11A BB
Design by Mollett, the fruit of cooperation with a well-known and respected designer with many years of experience. Michele Pensato (by Mollett), is distinguished by a new approach to the use of materials and experiments in the application of heat treatment and the use of advanced software in the design of knives.
Sleipner - chrome-molybdenum-vanadium, high-alloy universal tool steel with high resistance to wear and chipping. It achieves a high hardness of 60-61 HRC. Manufactured in the Swedish Uddeholm steel mill.
The 4.5mm thick massive blade with a Drop Point profile with a clearly marked belly blade provides excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Plain smooth blade is derived with a flat flat grind, which perfectly presents MilSpec's matt black finish. The projection / flipper placed on the underside of the shaft, assisted by IKBS (ball bearing system), enables quick and smooth opening of the blade. In the open position it serves as a lower cover (one-sided) to protect the hand from sliding off the handle.
Solid Frame-Lock - reinforced, monolithic blockade of Ergal aluminum blades. One of the claddings acts as a blocking mechanism, it is reinforced with a hardened steel insert.
RotoLock - a lock with a patented additional locking mechanism in the shape of a titanium plate by Gianni Pauletta. When the knife is open, turning the RotoLock by about 1/8 turn clockwise wedges the locking mechanism, preventing unintentional release of the blade lock, ensures blade stability identical to that of a fixed blade knife.
Handle - made in SOLID Knife technology from a single piece of Ergal aluminum, machined using CNC machine tools with non-slip texture for a better grip. Thanks to that a single skeleton (body) was obtained, which is a strong, solid construction element. Two-position left / right-handed, metal compact clip, allows you to carry the knife in the tip-up position (tip top). In the back of the linings, a hole (lanyard hole) for the cable and a hammer to break the tungsten carbide glass.
