TheDouble Elastic Insert® is a flexible organizational insert for carrying two full-size (full-round) pistol magazines in a flat-profile configuration. Two elastic pockets hold the magazines by pressing the sides together, and the open top edge allows for top-loading without flaps or additional fasteners.
On the back side is a hard Velcro fastener, which allows the cartridge to be clipped to the soft Velcro surface of pockets and organizational panels. This mounting allows you to move the cartridge between different pieces of equipment and position the magazines where you need them, such as in the interior panel of a backpack or in a range bag. The position can be changed by unfastening the cartridge and reinserting it into another Velcro field.
The insert is compatible with the Versatile Insert System® and can be mounted in selected Range, Urban and Bushcraft products. A detachable strap is sewn into the side, making it easy to detach the insert from the Velcro panel with one hand. The polyester construction maintains the shape of the pocket when inserting and removing magazines, and allows you to work in the tight compartments of the organizer. The insert works with Velcro (Velcro) Velcro panels used in elements of armor.
