The Delta-8 Side Zip model from Bates is a premium tactical boot designed for professionals - soldiers, officers and outdoor enthusiasts. The ankle-length upper is made of natural full-grain leather combined with durable ballistic nylon - this construction resists dirt and water. Made of breathable mesh, the lining provides adequate ventilation.
A classic lacing system with seven pairs of holes and hooks on each shoe allows for a precise fit to the wearer's foot. The boots are distinguished by a YKK side zipper for easy quick on and off. The zipper is assisted by an additional Velcro closure for better stability.
The use of an innovative contoured iCS® insole made of slightly flexible material influences the comfort of use. It is equipped with cushioning gel inserts in the forefoot and under the heel. The sole of oil-, acid- and abrasion-resistant rubber, with an aggressive ladder tread, provides stability on a variety of surfaces and is slip-resistant and self-cleaning.
The inside of the shoe is lined with mesh with a Gore-Tex® membrane, which contributes to waterproofness and breathability for all-day use. They contain no metal parts, making them undetectable by metal detectors. They meet the ENISO 20347 standard. To preserve their longer life, it is worth impregnating and treating them with dedicated products.
