The GX-4 is a professional women's tactical and training footwear from Bates, manufactured using the latest and time-tested technologies. The Bates company is known for producing footwear for the equipment of the most famous armies since the early 1960s. During this time it has gained the experience and trust of thousands of soldiers, policemen and officers of special units around the world.
The GX-4 model features a lightweight and durable construction, using waterproof natural leather and thick-weave ballistic nylon. The entire design has been stitched together with sealed seams so as to keep the boot dry while increasing the comfort of the foot. Each shoe is equipped with five pairs of holes for the laces, made of reinforced polymer.
The boots have a removable cushioned insole with ventilation holes and a leather-finished upper. To maintain waterproofness, the tongue is sewn to the rest of the boot up to the penultimate lacing hole. The non-slip, oil- and acid-resistant sole has an aggressive, self-cleaning tread. It has successfully passed the SATRA WTM 144 test.
Excellent ventilation of the foot is provided by the Gore-Tex® membrane, allowing moisture to evaporate while preventing the penetration of external moisture. Thanks to its use, this shoe is perfect even for all-day use. No metal parts were used in the construction, which is an important fact for those working with metal detectors.
Thanks to the Enforcer Series Ultra-Lites™ boot manufacturing technology developed by Bates, the GX-4 model features low weight. Bates boots are made according to the European standard EN ISO 20347.
