The Condor QD M4 Mag Pouch is used to carry an M4/AR-15 type magazine in an ordnance configuration. The version in the set allows you to separate the magazines on your vest, belt or panel and keep a fixed placement. The shape of the pocket guides the magazine into alignment for easy insertion and removal, and reduces movement of the magazine during movement.
The QD designation refers to the quick release of the loader from its mount without rebuilding the entire configuration. This makes it easier to change the equipment layout depending on the task or the way the magazine is carried. The solution also works well for organizing equipment in transit when items are carried in bags or gun cases with equipment panels.
The pocket is profiled under the magazine, so that its body remains stable and the grip from above is repeatable. Such an arrangement reduces the risk of snagging on the edges of the pocket and allows it to maintain a similar retrieval trajectory in repeated actions.
