TheSwagman Roll® is a SurvivalTech-designed and Helikon-manufactured survival ''Poncho Liner''. The Swagman Roll® is an excellent choice for any person who enjoys spending time in so-called outdoor activities or for survival enthusiasts who want to carry an extra source of warmth.
The''Poncho Liner'' is originally a thermal lin er under a rain poncho, invented by the US Army and designed for special units serving during the Vietnam War. The Swagman Roll®, is an evolved, significantly upgraded version of this product - its outer layer is made of 100% durable nylon with a DWR finish for increased water resistance.
The interior is filled with 67 g/m2Climashield® Apex™ fabric. This solution keeps the Swagman Roll® warm even when wet and damp. Zippers from the renowned YKK® company ensure high quality and durable use.
On the front, when worn, there is a zippered pocket, perfect for carrying, for example, a map. The Swagman Roll® has an integrated carrying pocket, which makes packing and carrying it extremely convenient and easy. It can be used at the same time as a standard poncho, thus increasing its water resistance and level of body heat retention.
Its design means that it can perform several functions:
