The Glock 19 Gen. 5 pistol is a smaller version of the legendary Glock 17. Glock pistols have a triple safety system: an external trigger and two internal firing pin safeties. The MOS version has a cutout in the rear of the breech for mounting red dot sight.
Compared to the previous generation, a number of improvements have been made to this model:- Double-sided breech drop, which makes the gun even better suited for left-handed shooters
- Modified grip - no finger profiling, the gun fits well in the hand regardless of the size of the shooter's hand
- Improved trigger mechanism and firing pin along with its safety, which translates into increased gun life and better trigger action
- New GLOCK Marksman Barrel, with improved accuracy
- Highly durable nDLC finish, increases corrosion and scratch resistance
- Enlarged magazine slot opening allows for faster magazine changes
- Enlarged magazine foot also contributes to easier magazine replacement
- Highly visible orange-colored magazine donor allows quicker identification of the weapon's loading status
