AKM Sporter sporting carbine in a revised version with wooden parts. Manufactured by Pioneer Arms, the carbine is powered by .22 LR side-fire ammunition. The platform is based on the popular and proven AK family. Distinguishing features of this version include a cold drawn barrel, wooden pistol grip, handguard and buttstock.
The steel parts have been oxidized, which increases their longevity and improves aesthetics. The AKM Sporter allows the use of a well-known and proven design, with the use of .22 LR caliber to reduce training costs. Its dimensions allow it to be carried seamlessly in long gun cases.
