Condor - Shock Stop Overlay - Black - MA80-002.
The Condor Shock Stop overlay is a shock-absorbing panel that stabilizes the flask on the shoulder and reduces its movement while handling the weapon. It is mounted on the vest, suspenders and other elements of the armor so that the point of support remains in a fixed place.
The outer layer is a leather-like material with a non-slip texture, which increases the friction between the flask foot and the surface of the armor. Inside, 9mm thick foam is used to separate the edges of the flask from the webbing and fasteners, and to distribute the pressure over a larger area.
Fastening is realized by two vertical MOD trousers compatible with MOLLE/PALS. When fastened, they are 165 mm long, so the panel can be threaded through more grommets and locked at the desired height. The arrangement makes it easy to fit different platforms and maintain a repeatable placement on the right or left shoulder, as the design is double-sided.
The Shock Stop can also work as part of the organization of kit on carrying straps, such as on the suspenders of military backpacks, when it is important to maintain stable support without transferring load to the neck. The panel organizes the "point of contact" when the setup changes between shooting, carrying and transporting.
Features:
- Shock absorption and stabilization of the flask's point of rest on the shoulder
- Anti-slip surface to improve flask retention in alignment
- 9mm foam padding to reduce point pressure on the armament
- Mounting on 2 MOD straps compatible with MOLLE/PALS system
- Can be mounted on vest, suspenders and other platforms with grommets
- Design for right- and left-handed use
