Softshell Proof Waterproofing from Nikwax is a specialized product designed to restore water repellency and breathability. It is suitable for softshell and other technical fabrics used in outdoor and sportswear, including Gore Windstopper, Windbloc, Polartec, Schoeller and other moisture-absorbing fabrics.
The formulation, in the form of a convenient spray, allows precise application to the surface of the garment. It can be applied to damp material, without the need to dry it first, which reduces care time and facilitates maintenance of garments used in the field.
The agent imparts permanent water repellency, refreshes the ability to wick away water vapor and helps keep the wearer comfortable during rain and intense exercise. It does not affect the external appearance of treated clothing.
For optimum effect, it is recommended to pre-wash the garment in Nikwax Tech Wash, then spray the material evenly, after about 2 minutes removing excess product with a damp cloth. The product is a chemical that should not be swallowed or inhaled. Keep it out of the reach of children, avoid release into the environment. Flush with water in case of eye contact and consult a doctor if swallowed.
