The Crosman Vantage air rifle with a modern solution in the form of a nitrogen-filled gas spring. The biggest advantage of this model is the nitrogen-powered, patented Nitro Piston® gas piston spring. The perceptible effect of such a solution is the predictability of recoil, less noticeable impact on the shooter's aiming and easier maintenance of the sighting instruments on the target.
The gas piston is also said to guarantee smooth operation, both during tensioning and firing. The firing cycle itself is much shorter, can have up to 80 percent less vibration and up to 70 percent less noise compared to traditional mechanical springs. In addition, the gas spring should provide consistent performance for up to 25,000 shots.
The tensioning of the airgun itself is convenient and easy thanks to the long barrel, measuring more than 47 cm, which has a twelve-thread barrel. It gives the fired pellet a spinning motion, stabilizing the bullet in flight and thus significantly improving accuracy and focus. Ease of aiming at the target, even in difficult lighting conditions, is ensured by the targeting instruments with fiber optics - green in the musket and red in the adjustable sights.
The 11mm Dovetail top rail allows mounting of a wide range of accessories, including the included Center Point 4x32 target scope, which has a matching mount with a lens hood. The stock of the air rifle is made of dark varnished wood. The buttstock is finished with a soft rubber foot and has a raised, symmetrical cheek pad for use by both right- and left-handers.
An easy-access, conveniently operated safety is placed in front of the adjustable trigger to prevent uncontrolled firing. Due to the size of the air rifle, it is worth getting an airgun case thanks to which the user will be able to carry it comfortably and protect it from potential damage.
Included with the carbine is an optical sight from Center Point with quadruple magnification and a lens diameter of 32 mm. It has a very convenient to use adjustment turrets that allow precise calibration. The sight is made of aluminum, finished in matte and mounted on a medium two-piece mount.The product is available without a permit for adults. The shotgun's discharge energy is less than 17 J.
