A keychain in the form of a compact baton with a steel ring for attaching the Gear Marker from Ni-Glo. Inside the polymer body is a phosphorescent material that responds by emitting light after prior exposure to sunlight or a lamp. The pendant can achieve a light emission time of up to 10 h. The durability of the substance used can be up to 10 years and has no negative impact on the environment.
It will work well as a key ring, a carabiner accessory, a clothing and backpack tag, and a tag mounted to a dog or cat's collar. The minimum charging time is 10 minutes, but for optimal effect it is advisable to expose the marker to light for 2 h if possible. The keychain has an empty weight of less than 10 grams, so taking even a few at a time on a hike won't weigh down your gear.
