The rotating dial features a handle made of DryFlex™ rubber for a secure and comfortable grip. Three silicone feet facilitate precise map work.
The new version with clearer colors, a clearer needle and directional line, and a lanyard with printed scales of 1:25,000 and 1:50,000. The scales can be easily applied to the route on the map increasing the accuracy of the reading. The Expedition compass is a high-quality device that will be perfect for hiking, orienteering and survival competitions.
It also comes with a card that will allow you to measure the spacing between the horizons on the map and show you the average angle of the terrain in which you will be marching. This will allow the user to know if he or she is entering an area potentially threatened by snow avalanches. In combination with the military mapmaker, it will create a set that will allow for efficient orientation in the field using analog means.
