The Kel-Met police tonfa-type baton is a model with a cross handle. The design allows for varied grips and increased control during use. Made of reinforced polymer, it has an internal spring steel reinforcement on the working section of the baton.
The use of a transverse handle allows the baton to be used effectively for both blocking and striking. At the top of the handle is a rounded metal tip for breaking glass. The tonfa is compatible with 30mm diameter police baton holders.
