The CZ Shadow 2 was developed in collaboration with leading IPSC competitors as a successor to the highly successful SP-01 Shadow. Compared to its predecessor, it stands out for its even higher ergonomics, improved slide profile and spectacular aluminium grips.

The use of the live equivalent - shooting in dynamic competitions prompted the designers to use a full steel frame in it. The replica was perfectly reproduced in this aspect. The metal construction finished in a pleasing, matte way shows an almost identical weight. The construction of the slide made of anodized aluminum, milled in CNC technology resulted in high durability and attractive appearance.

The handle, equipped with aluminium cladding, has been covered with aggressive texture, which in combination with the profile translates into an extraordinary comfort of use. Compared to the previous version, the wing safety was flattened, while the magazine catch was equipped with a three-level adjustment.

The milled outer barrel is well-fitted with the slide and protected against scratches. Its low-set axis translates into high firing stability. Under the barrel, a long RIS rail of 20 mm standard has been mounted.

The large trigger guard allows operating in thick gloves and conceals an extremely smooth trigger with an integrated adjustment screw. The trigger mechanism works in SA/DA system so we can take a shot both earlier by cocking the hammer and directly by using the trigger.

The sights used on the pistol are typically adapted for dynamic shooting. The front made in fiber optic technology allows for quick aiming. Rear has been equipped with a two-plain adjustment allowing for the correction of the targeting line. Both the sights and the spine of the slide was covered with grooving so as to scatter the light making it easier to aim in high sunlight.

The pistol is disassembled in the same way as in the original - after removing the slide we get access to the HopUp regulation. The gun is supplied by default from a CO2 gas magazine, but it is also possible to use separately purchased green gas magazines. Optimization of the gun's operation makes both blow back systems stable. The magazine received a large polymer footplate, significantly improving the convenience of getting it out of the pouch.
