RAO Black, in June 2006 the parachute reconnaissance regiment "185 ° Rgt. The project resulted in the creation of RAO, a solid full-size (full size) folder with a heavy, solid, reliable blade.

The legendary RAO is a durable, versatile folding knife with a blade designed for use on the battlefield and for extremely hard work. The reliable Bolt Lock blade locking system, supported by an additional bolted (from the right) steel safety bolt, effectively turns a folder into a knife with a fixed blade.

The blade - massive, extremely sharp (6 mm thick) with a short false blade and Tanto profile ensures perfect cutting edge geometry at low friction. Made of good sharpness, durable, high-cobalt stainless steel N690 with a hardness of 58 HRC made in the Austrian steel mill Böhler-Uddeholm. The blade has a non-reflective matt coating MIL-C-13924 BURNISHING. A smooth Plain blade was cut out with a flat grind. On the blade's back a long corrugated thumb ramp (spine jimping) facilitates efficient knife operation.

Double blade locking system: solid Bolt-Lock mechanism and additional protection, steel threaded bolt which should be moved and screwed through the two holes in the handle. In the rear part of the grip a hole (lanyard hole) with a stretched elastic cord with a steel pin attached.
