Military Dark Blue CPM S110V Plain is one of the most recognizable Spyderco knives in the exclusive Dark Blue color reserved for Spyderco knives with the blade made of steel CPM S110V of American company Crucible.
Designed for intensive use, the massive handle allows you to use the knife in gloves and people with large hands. Reinforced fully dismountable construction combined with torx screws makes it easy to clean and adjust the folder. Produced at the Spyderco factory in the USA (Golden, Colorado).
Blade - laser cut with a modified Clip Point profile, 3.7 mm thickness. Made of high quality stainless steel CPM S110V (containing 2.8% carbon and a large admixture of niobium, vanadium and chromium carbides) extremely resistant to abrasion - hardened in the 58-61 HRC range. Thanks to this properties, it maintains its focus for a very long time and guarantees aggressive cuts for a long time. The Satin Finish (semi-matte) coating eliminates glares. Smooth blade (Plain type) was made with a Full Flat Grind increasing the cutting properties and reducing the weight of the knife. An enlarged 14 mm round SpyderHole (Spyderco patent) allows you to open the knife also in the glove. A notched thumb ramp and Finger Choil (profiled undercut finger between the handle and the cutting edge) increase control over the knife. Improved Liner-Lock blade lock.
Handle - profiled, covered with non-slip textured pads in dark blue color. Made of G-10 material (durable, resistant to high and low temperatures, chemicals). The folder has been equipped with a torx bolt, one-position clip that allows carrying the knife in the tip-down position (pointing tip down). In the back of the grip, an enlarged hole (lanyard hole) to pull the leash or safety rope.
