Spyderco - Shaman™ G-10 Black Folding Knife - C229GP

Shaman Black G-10 Plain, the impulse to create this knife was the iconic Native, for decades the flagship product of Spyderco. This advanced folder offers improved ergonomics but in a full-sized version. Shaman is one of the best EDC. Produced in the Spyderco factory in the USA (Golden, Colorado).

Made of corrosion-resistant, resistant to mechanical stresses of American CPM S30V powder steel with the addition of carbon, chromium and vanadium, hardness 58-59 HRC. This unique steel is designed for the production of high-quality blades and knives, manufactured at the mills Crucible Inc.

Compression-Lock - patented by the Spyderco Company (made in USA) the mechanism of locking the blade. Extremely durable, provides extreme strength and ease of use.

Blade - with a Drop Point profile, 3.7 mm thickness. Smooth blade (Plain type) was made with a full flat cut (Full Flat Grind). The flat cut provides excellent cutting edge geometry with a sharp tip. The head was covered with a non-reflective matte Stone Washed coating (masking small scratches created during operation). An enlarged 14 mm round SpyderHole cut-out (Spyderco patent) allows you to quickly open the knife. The long notched thumb ramp and Finger Choil (profiled undercut finger between the handle and the cutting edge) make it easier to control the knife.
<brHandle - made of profiled, non-slip mate linings with G-10 material (durable plastic, resistant to high and low temperatures, chemicals). The folder is equipped with a solid metal screw clip (StoneWashed) with the possibility of mounting in four planes (up / down, right / left) 4-way clip positions. In the rear part of the handle,  was placed a gap for installation of a security cable.

Frame - reinforced with two stainless steel plates to which the cladding was attached. This ensures high durability with a low knife weight. The whole has been bolted with enlarged torx screws to facilitate the twisting and unfolding of the folder.
