A polymer handguard from the MOE® series (Magpul Original Equipment) for AR15 / M4 family carbines, designed for weapons with a carbine-length gas system (carbine-length). Fits both DI and piston guns.
Made of reinforced polymer, the bed is lighter than similar elements made of aluminum, and thanks to its slightly rough surface, ergonomic shape and ribs, it fits comfortably in the hand. The polymer is also resistant to high temperatures, which in combination with the built-in aluminum cover and the extended front of the handguard protects the shooter from the hot gas block and improves barrel cooling.
The bed is equipped with M-LOK® system holes located at the 2, 6 and 10 o'clock positions. This allows for easy installation and the use of numerous accessories, such as foregrip, installation of tactical lighting, or mounting rails of other standards.
The assembly and replacement of the handguard is simple and is based on the use of the standard delta ring for AR15 / M4 carabiners and similar.
