Strike Industries - AR Enhanced Castle Nut & Extended End Plate - Black - SI-AR-ECN&EEP-BK
Built into the back of the plate is a QD standard port that allows the use of gun slings. By moving the mounting point further back, the problem of the dominant hand catching on the buckle or belt is eliminated. This also makes it easier to maneuver the weapon in limited space.
The manufacturer recommends using a torque wrench to install the nut. A standard gunsmith's wrench for AR carbines will fit, but may damage the nut if force is applied beyond the recommended 40 inch/lb.
NOTE: The plate eliminates the ability to fold the stock to the first position.
