Herbertz Solingen - Carambit knife Skulls Design 73mm - 572413
Carambit - a type of knife that was born in Indonesia, with roots dating back to Malaysia and the Philippines. It is characterized by an inverted handle with an opening for the index finger. The rounded shape of the blade is very effective in cutting - the blade imitates the way a tiger's claw tears - piercing and cutting. It is used as a working knife, a martial arts knife (Self Defence and Martal Arts) and as a defence knife if necessary.
Blade - aggressive Hawkbill profile, rounded blade shape is characterized by great efficiency and speed of cutting. The Hawkbill profile imitates the way the eagle's claws tear (piercing and cutting simultaneously). The blade is made of hardened 54-56 HRC, AISI 420 stainless steel. The Plain smooth blade with Hollow Grind allows effective cutting with both the cutting surface and the ultra-thin tip. A curved index finger cut and a notched thumb ramp make it easy to operate the blade. Liner Lock.
Handle - lining of hardened ABS plastic. Metal clip for easy handling of the knife in tip-down position. The end of the handle is finished with an enlarged rounded head in the shape of a ring (finger ring) enabling to perform traditional techniques with the knife, it facilitates quick turning of the knife around the finger located in the opening of the head.
