The Umarex 3-9x40 AO IR spotting scope is made entirely of durable aluminum. The illuminated Reticle 8 reticle allows accurate aiming in various lighting conditions. The brightness of the target reticle can be adjusted in seven levels using a knob located on the back of the scope. Powered by a CR2032 3V battery, the scope can be operated for long periods of time without the need to frequently replace the power source.
Parallax adjustment from 10 m to ∞ allows you to focus at the selected distance, minimizing the effect of shifting the aiming point when the eye position changes. The standard 40 mm objective lens diameter provides enough light for a sharp image. The 25mm diameter tube is compatible with the included Dovetail rail mount. The telescope's small size does not interfere with carrying a windsock with optics in a gun bag.
