The scope's casing is made of strong and lightweight aluminium, which after being anodised has become more durable and corrosion-resistant. In addition, the matt black color and white markings give thescope a tactical character.
The one - piece tube with a diameter of 25.4 mm maintains perfect tightness and has been filled with dry nitrogen, which protects the lenses against fogging of in unfavourable conditions.
The scope's lenses provide a constant, six-fold zoom, which is ideal for long-distance shooting. In addition, the lenses are covered with a special coating which is characterised by high light transmission, so that the image observed by the scope always remains clear and sharp, even under low light conditions.
Fast and simple aiming is ensured by the type 4 reticle, which, thanks to its simple design, does not restrict the field view and ensures good visibility. The scope's crosshair is not illuminated, which eliminates the need for using batteries and reduces the weight of the entire scope. The position of the reticle can be adjusted vertically and horizontally using regulation drums placed on the surface of the case.
Both adjustment drums are secured with a special nut, which effectively protects them from dirt and damages. One click of the drum moves the aiming point by 0.7 mm over a distance of 10 m.
In addition, the scope is equipped with an easy to use and intuitive ring with which makes parallax correction possible. This setting is very important during shooting at varying distances and it is used to precisely adjust the focus to the user needs.
The scope set includes a robust ring mount for 11 mm rail, equipped with a special pin, which increases the strength and stability of the mount. What's more, together with the telescope, the user receives polymer caps for the glasses, which protect them during transport.
The Walther 6x42 AO telescope is ideal for long distance shooting from airguns and the possibility to adjust the cross and parallaxe makes it easier to shoot accurately and to make corrections needed. Moreover, the robust mounting added to the set guarantees high durability and the possibility of mounting the scope even on high-powered airgun rifles.
