The Stormrider is a recoilless air rifle powered by compressed air (PCP) from a built-in cartridge. This model, thanks to its affordability, beautiful workmanship and high repeatability of shots, will be a great introduction to professional pneumatic shooting.
Efficient cartridge in the PCP air rifle
Diana PCP Stormrider fires pellets using compressed air stored in a steel cartridge with a capacity of 100 cm³. Maximally filled cartridge (200 Bar) allows you to fire about 80 shots with the same initial speed of 290 m/s. The pressure in the cartridge can be easily verified thanks to the integrated pressure gauge. The set includes a plug-mounted quick coupler for transferring air from the HP cylinder.
PCP carbine with a slim wooden stock
The settlement with a classic character was made of oiled beech wood. On the pistol grip and the front, the manufacturer has applied aesthetic lattice, which increases grip and gives it an elegant style. The 38 mm wide stock is very slender, and the whole thing weighs 2.3 kg, thanks to which women and teenagers can successfully shoot it. Monte Carlo type stock with a high cheekpiece allows the use of large-diameter shooting scopes and ensures convenient folding for both right-handed and left-handed people. At the end of the stock there is a soft rubber foot, allowing for comfortable and stable support of the carbine against the shoulder.
Soft and easily felt trigger system in the airgun
The PCP Stormrider air rifle uses a one-stop trigger mechanism weighing ~1.3 kg. This makes the trigger of the carbine soft, easily felt and predictable, which significantly affects the precision and repeatability of shots. Within the trigger guard there is a manual safety. The carabiner has a front sight and a rear sight adjustable in two planes, however, it is also possible to mount an optical sight using the 11 mm wide mounting rail. In the case of mounting the scope, the rear sight must be removed beforehand.
PCP air rifle with a magazine for 7 pellets
The carbine has a threaded barrel with a length of up to 480 mm, which positively affects the accuracy and repeatability of shots. At the end of the barrel there is a sound suppressor that reduces the sound of the shot. Together with the PCP Stormrider carbine, the user receives a aluminum rotary magazine with a capacity of 7 pellets. The magazine is magnetically secured when inserted into the lock. A small four-stroke lever is used to reload the pellets. This solution increases the rate of fire and allows you to fire consecutive shots without taking your eyes off the target.
The set also includes a magnetic single-shot insert that allows the pellet to be properly inserted into the chamber without worrying about its distortion and jamming. The manufacturer recommends using only half-round or flat diabolo pellets for the proper operation of the air rifle.
