Pacific Salt 2 folding knife from the respected Spyderco company, modeled on the iconic Endura model, which is considered by users to be one of the best tourist folding knives. A light folding knife will be a great EDC knife (Every Day Carry), which you can always have with you in your pocket cargo pants. Salt series knives have a high corrosion resistance, therefore they are especially recommended for sailors, divers, anglers, canoeists and sea lovers who want to have a rust-resistant folding knife.
Adapted for use in the marine environment
Pacific Salt 2 is equipped with plain blade with a Clip Point profile with a concave cut (Hollow Grind), which was made of Japanese H-1 stainless steel with a hardness of 57-58 HRC . Steel in its composition contains chromium, nickel and nitrogen, which partially replaces carbon, thanks to which the folding knife has a high resistance to corrosion and can also stay in salty sea water. The blade is covered with a black anti-reflective TICN (Non-Reflective Titanium Carbonitride) coating, which additionally protects against scratching the surface. The blade opens with a patented 14mm Spider Hole.
The handle of the folding knife made is of FRN Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon. A secure grip, even with wet or dirty hands, is possible thanks to the texturing of Bi-Directional Texturing handles, which increases the safety of use. The knife has a 4-position titanium clip.
Lock for high security
Durable Back Lock, characterized by smooth operation and high work culture, is responsible for the safe use of the folding knife. Back Lock has an additional cutout designed by Boy Detent, which reduces the risk of accidentally releasing the lock when the hand is tightly clamped on the handle. High comfort of use is ensured by a notched support for the thumb, the so-called ramp. There is a cord hole at the end of the handle.
