The failure-free, efficient and easy to use power supply system is based on a spring with an air compression piston. The airgun must be reloaded after each shot to load another bullet into the chamber and compress another dose of air. The DX17 does not require the use of gas capsules, unlike CO2 airguns. All you need to play is a pistol and ammunition supply.
The advantage of the pistol is also its versatility in the choice of shot, as its design allows for shooting with both 4,5mm diabolo pellets and round steel pellets. Round pellets can be stored in integrated magazine which holds up to 15 pellets. Diabolo pellet must be loaded separately, directly into the barrel.
The initial speed of the bullet depends on the type of ammunition as well as the ambient temperature and oscillates between 60-55 m/s. The gun is ideal for recreational target shooting and, due to its low weight and ease of use, can be operated by children and beginners.
The body of the airgun is made of durable and lightweight polymer, however, important internal parts are made of metal. The slide has been equipped with clear aiming sights, in the form a fibre optic sights. Thanks to them, it is possible to quickly trace the target and to take a shot.
Under the barrel there is a RIS rail allowing the installation of additional accessories such as tactical flashlights or laser target pointers. Pistol grip is equipped with a special, anti-slip texture, which facilitates safe and stable grip of the wind gun.
The DX17 is also equipped with a fuse to protect the gun from uncontrolled shooting. The sliding fuse lever is intuitive to operate and serves its purpose, increasing shooting safety.
