A modern Luminus SST40 LED is responsible for high efficiency and functional light output of each mode. It generates light colour, which balances on the edge of neutral and cool. This solution is aimed at minimising the user's visual load, while maintaining good lighting conditions.
Moreover, the light emitted by the diode is supported by a thin colimating lens and an orange peel reflector. Thanks to the application of such improvements, the beam of light is widely dispersed up to 94°, which allows for precise illumination of details and surroundings of the object.
The 22.6mm diameter torch tube is made of light and durable anodised aircraft aluminium. The non-slip texture of the grip guarantees a stable grip of the torch even with wet hands. Thanks to a durable casing and a solid seal of threaded connections, the torch meets the requirements of IP68 and can work without any obstacles up to 2 metres below the water surface. Moreover, the torch is resistant to falls from a height of no more than 1 metre.
The torch is powered by a powerful lithium-ion cell with a capacity of 3400 mAh.. In the absence of a special battery at hand, the torch can interchangeably use two CR123 batteries. The way of charging the cells is also very convenient. Thanks to the USB-C port in the casing, no dedicated chargers or docking stations are needed. The torch can be charged with a smartphone cable. The charging status of the batteries is indicated by a red/green LED on the switch.
