Karambit - a type of knife that originated in Indonesia, with roots in Malaysia and the Philippines. It is characterized by an inverted handle with a hole for the index finger. The rounded shape of the blade is characterized by great cutting efficiency - the blade mimics the way a tiger's claw rips through - piercing as well as cutting.
Blade - 3 mm thick with an aggressive Hawkbill profile, the rounded shape features great cutting efficiency and speed. Hawkbill profile mimics the way an eagle's talons tear (piercing and cutting at the same time). Plain blade with ultra-thin tip and excellent curve for maximum cutting capabilities. The blade is made of Austrian Böhler-Uddeholm's N690Co stainless steel, a high-carbon steel with added cobalt for structural uniformity. The blade is hardened between 58-60 HRC. The blade is coated with a black, scratch-resistant, matte non-reflective PTFE coating. Notched thumb ramp on the back of the blade makes it easier to operate the knife. Liner-Lock.
Handle - non-slip G-10 OD plastic facings (durable, heat- and cold-resistant and chemical-resistant). Spine Jimping notching on the back of the handle increases grip security even with wet hands. A wire clip (left/right) allows you to carry the folder in tip-up (tip up) position. The handle is finished with an enlarged polished finger ring, made of hard anodized aluminum. The ring makes it easy to quickly rotate the folder around the finger located in the head opening, and allows traditional knife techniques to be performed.
