The Rotex RM8 Varmint 4.5 mm is a modern PCP airgun from Walther. The built-in 200cc cartridge allows you to fire up to 180 shots. The UC (Ultra Compact) version of the airgun has a shortened barrel and an efficient K3 NEO suppressor.

The handguard of the airgun is made of durable and lightweight polymer, which does not require as much maintenance as is the case with wooden carbine handguards. The Rotex RM8 Varmint uses a thumbhole stock, which is distinguished by its pistol grip and open thumb space. This design provides a more secure grip and makes shooting easier for people with small hands. On the pistol grip and the handguards of the airgun is applied Hi-Grip texturing, which further improves the grip. A high-profile comb has been placed on the stock to accommodate both right and left-handed shooters. The stock is finished with a footplate, which increases the comfort of shooting.

The Walther Rotex RM8 Varmint is equipped with a recoilless PCP power supply for improved accuracy. An added benefit of the recoilless system is that there is no damage to the optical sight or loss of zero, as happens with high-powered spring-loaded airguns. The PCP system on the Rotex RM8 Varmint is powered by a 200cc cartridge, which allows up to 180 shots. The user can monitor the fill level of the cartridge through the mounted manometer. In this airgun was mounted high quality 500 mm barrel made by Lothar Walther, which together with adjustable trigger mechanism provides very good accuracy and repeatability of shots. Trigger mechanism has adjustable clearance (pre travel), so the user can adjust it to individual preferences. The barrel is finished with 1/2'' UNF male thread, to which you can mount the sound suppressor.

The airgun is equipped with a manual trigger safety located in the rear of the breech chamber.

By using in the Rotex RM8 Varmint rotary aluminum magazine for 8 diabolo type pellets the user can shoot without taking his eyes off the target. Reloading after each shot is possible with the biathlon-type side lever.
