Silencer Cover Short Coyote Brown Direct Action® GA-SLCS-AFG-CBR suppressor cover.
The Direct Action® Silencer Cover Short was designed for the short version of the Rotex silencer but will be compatible with other silencers with a larger girth due to its adjustability. It easily attaches to a 12 cm long, 40 mm diameter exhaust device. The cover is lightweight and does not affect the weapon's overweight effect.
The Silencer Cover Short is dedicated for use with .223REM, 7.62mm and .308WIN caliber.
The Direct Action Silencer Cover is made of aluminum fabric with fiberglass and 500D Cordura. Such a solution makes working with a heated suppressor safer - we reduce the possibility of accidental burns from a heated exhaust device. The Silencer Cover Short is dedicated to work with .223REM,, 7.62mm and .308WIN caliber however it is not suitable for automatic weapons.
The thermal cover from Direct Action nullifies the mirage effect
During intensive fire with a weapon equipped with a suppressor, its temperature is significantly increased, as a result of which the device is susceptible to the mirage effect, consequently leading to poorer accuracy. The use of Silencer Cover Short reduces this phenomenon to the maximum. In addition to the heat shield, it is worth getting other necessary shooting accessories such as a collimator sight.
