Ka-Bar 1493 - TDI Investigator Tactical Knife
TDI Investigator Tactical Knife Ka-Bar 1493
Ka-Bar 1493 TDI Investigator is a tactical knife with plain, black blade, manufactured by the legendary Ka-Bar company. It is a version of the popular Law Enforcement Knife with an additional shortened grip, which gives it a small profile perfect for hidden carrying under civilian clothes.
Designed by John Benner, the founder of the Tactical Defense Institute, the coordinator of the American Drug Task Force and the commander of the SWAT unit, the KA-BAR TDI knife was intended primarily for policemen. Designed by the pro for professionals, it's small, light and incredibly sharp. A special handle allows for a very firm grip. The knife is held in the hand like a pistol.
The blade in the Full Tang design is made of one piece of AUS 8 steel, covered with a black, anti-reflective coating. The handle with non-slip texture is made of Zytel ® material.
The included black tactical sheath with a black metal clip (1480CLIP) can be attached to the inside or outside of the belt. It holds the knife well, while allowing it to be quickly extracted from it.
The set also includes two spare screws for the sheath and an Allen key.
