The Edge - ProSHARP Diamond Knife Sharpener - 555-002
The lightweight polymer frame features a large suction cup, allowing it to be securely mounted on a tabletop. The knife is secured to the base with two metal plates fitted with protective rubber caps - these hold the knife in a locked position, ensuring a fixed sharpening point and making accidental injury difficult.
Sharpening is accomplished by placing one or two sharpening plates of the selected gradation - 240, 600 or 1000 - on the guide and placing its rod in the selected slot of the plastic frame. These slots have pre-determined sharpening angles: 10°, 12°, 20°. 25° and 30° degrees. Once the guide is placed at the correct angle, you can start sharpening by rubbing the edge of the blade with the plate - you don't need to apply any additional pressure, just the weight of the guide.
