LR50R is powered by a powerful ARB-L52-16000 battery pack with a capacity of 12,000 mAh, on which the flashlight can work for 4 days in ecco mode (50 lumens) or 45 minutes in turbo mode (12,000 lumens). An alternative form of power supply in the form of 4 21700 batteries can be used in the flashlight. Thanks to the use of the USB-C port and support for fast charging protocols, the ARB-L52-16000 battery can be charged in just a few hours.

A capacious battery and USB-C port allow the flashlight to act as a power bank, so in a crisis situation we can recharge the phone or PMR radio. Sockets are protected against moisture, rain and dust with airtight rubber plugs.

For the sake of safety and proper functioning, the Fenix ​​LR50R has overheating protection, reverse polarity protection and a low battery warning.
