The Grasshopper Black knife is an impressively sharp, full-featured mini knife from Spyderco. It is lightweight and foldable, making it easy to carry and use in a variety of situations. Spyderco's micro slipjoints, though small, are fully functional tools, ideal for everyday use or as key fobs. Made of stainless steel, it features an attractive all-black oxide coating finish.
The SlipJoint mechanism used on this model is non-blocking and holds the blade in both the folded and extended positions. The Clip Point profile head, made of sharp Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel, is smooth and easy to sharpen. Thanks to the Satin Finish coating, glare is eliminated, which increases the utility of the knife in various lighting conditions.
The handle is covered with profiled stainless steel liners, which allows you to operate the knife even with tactical gloves. In addition, in the back of the handle there is a hole (lanyard hole) for attaching a safety cable or ball chain, which allows the knife to be hung around the neck or attached to a key-ring. The whole thing is packaged in an elegant cardboard box with the Spyderco logo, which also makes the knife aesthetically appealing.
