Mini Osborne is a high-quality folding knife that is a smaller version of the 940 Osborne knife from the renowned manufacturer Benchmade. The 940 model was designed by Warren Osborne. The Osborne series of knives has won praise from users around the world for its reliability and durability. This lightweight and durable design is perfect for everyday use as an EDC (Every Day Carry) knife.
The blade of the knife is Reverse Tanto profile, made from CPM S30V stainless steel, which is manufactured with CPM technology by American company Crucible Materials. S30V steel was specifically created for high-end knife production and renowned knife-maker Chris Reeve participated in the development process. The steel with a hardness of 58-60 HRC is valued by users due to its cutting properties and long lasting sharpness.
The knife opens with the thumb using a double-sided bolt and a high-quality AXIS® Lock is responsible for the smooth opening and closing process. The advantage of this type of lock is very easy operation by both right- and left-handed users, in addition, it is more tolerant of contamination compared to other types of locks.
The handle on the folding knife are made of lightweight and durable aircraft grade 6061-T6 aluminum, which are attached to steel liners. Properly contoured handle provides high comfort and safety for the user. The Mini Osborne has a standard clip on both sides allowing the knife to be carried in the pocket of trousers in the Tip-Up position.
