Claymore automatic folding knife from the tactical series from Benchmade is a durable and reliable construction. The folding knife, through to its solid structure, will work in the most difficult conditions, and the automatic opening system makes the knife immediately ready for use.
The knife blade with a Drop-Point profile was made of CPM-D2 tool steel. Steel with a hardness of 60-62 HRC is appreciated by users for its cutting properties and long-lasting sharpness. The blade in the knife is partially serrated, which facilitates quick cutting of ropes or straps.
The automatic opening system instantly opens the blade as soon as the lock button is pressed. The blade folding takes place after pressing the lock button again and manually folding the blade. The Claymore model has an additional lock that protects the user against unintentional pressing of the button and thus accidental opening of the knife. The second lock is also an additional security during all kinds of work with the knife.
Linings in the folding knife are made of durable Grivory material, which has texturing for a secure grip. In the rear part of the handle there is a hole through which you can attach a safety lanyard or thread a paracord.
The knife is equipped with a double-sided tactical Deep Carry clip facilitating hidden knife carrying in the Tip-Up position, eg in military trousers .
