Pro 700 from Magpul is a state-of-the-art Remington® 700 chassis that allows you to take the comfort of this proven rifle to a whole new level. It's ready to install right out of the box - no additional modifications to the rifle mechanism or the stock itself are required.
The standard version, designed to work with rifles equipped with a Short Action. The Pro 700 stock can be used by both right- and left-handed shooters. The stock can be adjusted to fold to the right or left side, depending on preference. The stock and reloading lever opening can be repositioned to accommodate right- or left-handed users.
The stock of the Pro 700 is made of anodized 6061-T6 aluminum, while the body, adjustment knobs, grip and breech are made of polymer. This provides both exceptional strength and low weight. The modern stock features a side-folding stock that is designed so that when folded, it does not interfere with the reloading lever.
The folding stock has an adjustable LOP of 13.25" - 15.125". The cheek pad height can be adjusted from 0.90"-1.33" and to the left or right by 5 degrees. Additionally, the tray has a 3-position forward / backward adjustment of +.375", 0" and -.375".
The front of the grip features mounting holes for the M-LOK system (6 on each side, 7 on the underside of the stock and 2 on the underside of the stock), allowing the use of a wide range of accessories, such as the bipods.
The Pro 700 features a polymer pistol grip with 5-degree forward edge deflection and an enlarged palm bulge with 7-degree rearward edge deflection and a 0.75'' range adjustment to the forward/reverse trigger. Included is an interchangeable pistol grip with 8-degree forward edge deflection and 20-degree rearward edge deflection.
The modern stock has been fitted with a both sides and low profile magazine release. The magazine seat is in the AICS Short Action configuration, which is highly optimized for use with the PMAG® 5 and PMAG® 10 7.62 AC™ magazines and others adapted to the AICS Short Action configuration.
There are QD mounts on both sides of the stock.
