The Sethlans D2 knife was created in a collaboration between the Extrema Ratio brand and the well-known survival instructor at F.I.S.S.S. (Italian Federation of Sports and Experimental Survival) - Daniele Dal Canto. Its fixed Drop Point profile blade is made of durable D2 steel hardened to 59-60 HRC. Combined with a completely flat blade grind , the Sethlans D2 knife is an extremely durable, solidly crafted and exceptionally sharp cutting tool. The steel used has been further protected against corrosion and coated with a black Teflon-based coating.

The Sethlans D2 knife can be used by people who prefer a classic grip, as well as by those who prefer an inverted grip. This is due to the use of a design based on special notches that improve ergonomics and grip security in all conditions. The handle of the Extrema Ratio knife is made of durable G10 linings. In addition, the shape of the knife is slightly curved and resembles an arc to further increase comfort and ergonomics.
A tactical holster in the MOLLE standard equipped with a practical pocket and a glass breaker are other attributes of the Extrema Ratio Sethlans D2 knife.
The set includes a tactical hol ster made of Kydex, compatible with the MOLLE standard. Thanks to this solution, we can easily attach the holster of the knife to the tactical belt and safely transport it. In addition, at the bottom of the handle, the manufacturer has attached an oval lanyard hole that can act as a hammer or glass breaker. A removable pocket has been attached to the holster to hold the kit's accessories, i.e. a flint and a sharpening stone.
