Chronograph Ballistic Precision in Premium Kit from Caldwell. This device is designed to measure the initial velocity of bullets from firearms (pistols, sports rifles, hunting weapons), ASG replicas, paintball markers, and arrows for bows and crossbow bolts. The chronograph is capable of measuring velocity between 1 and 9000 FPS.
The Ballistic Precision Chronograph is equipped with a high-speed 48 MHz processor that ensures high accuracy of the measurements taken. The accuracy of the initial velocity reading is within the error limit of +/- 0.25%. The device has a built-in LCD display, which shows the measurement reading. The user, through a switch located on the side of the chronograph, can select whether the measurement reading is to be given in FPS or MPS.
The device can be powered by a single 9V battery (not included) or AC mains charger. On the side of the chronograph is a inlet for an audio jack cable to connect to a mobile device. After downloading the appropriate app, the mobile device can store data in its memory and calculate data such as average speed, deviation, minimum and maximum speed in a series. The App also allows you to transmit the stored data using email.
The Ballistic Precision chronograph has a 1/4-20 thread for tripod mounting. It comes with a foldable stand with height adjustment from 15'' - 42''. Along with the device, the user receives a sunshade equipped with LEDs to ensure the highest quality of measurement.
