Dedicated for 300 BLK (7.62 x 35 mm) ammunition PMAG series magazine with a capacity of 20 rounds.
Users using ammunition of this caliber have often had to use 5.56 x 45 mm magazines, which are capable of feeding 300 Blackout cartridges, but this is associated with some problems. First, with reduced reliability, due to significant differences in dimensions and weight between types of ammunition. Second, with the risk of committing a catastrophic and dangerous error of attempting to fire a 300 BLK projectile from a 5.56 x 45 mm caliber gun.
The dedicated PMAG magazine solves the above problems and provides a number of additional improvements. The geometry of the magazine, maintained in the smooth arc (constant curve) and adapted to the dimensions of the 300 BLK ammunition, ensuring smooth and trouble-free operation. The textured surface of the magazine makes it easier to grip, and at the same time clearly distinguishes the magazine from PMAGs in 5.56 x 45 mm caliber. The magazine is made of a durable and light composite characteristic for Magpul products.
Due to the standard dimensions of the PMAG series, the magazine is compatible with pouches for AR magazines.
