The active ingredient used, anhydrous sodium dichloroisocyanurate (NaDCC), is a WHO recommended agent in drinking water improvement guidelines.
Javel Aqua tablets meet the requirements of European standards EN 12931 and EN 12933 for water treatment chemicals in the event of epidemiological risks such as intestinal disorders, typhus, dysentery, or cholera.
Way to treat water while hiking and camping
They are intended for the purification of drinking water of unknown origin. Eliminate microorganisms that cause digestive system disorders and related diseases. The recommended ratio is 1 tablet per 1 liter of water. The cleanup process takes at least 30 minutes.
The treated water should be previously filtered, using the appropriate water filtration devices. Cloudiness in water will reduce the effectiveness of the tablets. If filtration is not possible, the dose of the disinfectant should be increased and the duration of action extended.
