Ten-Speed® pistol magazine pouch from the renowned Blue Force Gear company is ultra-thin, low-profile and one of the lightest pouches on the market. Designed for one pistol magazine, or other tactical equipment, such as a flashlight or multitool.
Ultra-thin material construction
Single open-type pouch was made of the innovative ULTRAcomp™ material and elastic fabric compliant with the military specification, from which the front of the pouch was made. ULTRAcomp™ is a damage-resistant, ultra-thin and hydrophobic laminate with a thickness of only 0.65 mm glued to a very thin layer of Cordura with an IRR finish. According to the manufacturer, this laminate is four times more durable and up to 60% lighter than the commonly used Cordura® 1000D material. The magazines are mounted in a press-fit pouch.
Innovative fastening system
The Ten-Speed® pouch is attached with the Helium Whisper™ system developed by Blue Force Gear, made of ULTRAcomp™ laminate. Its advantage is low weight, increased strength and simplicity of construction in relation to the MOLLE assembly. The assembly is done with Velcro, not as in standard solutions with a metal clasp. The durable Tex 70 Bonded Nylon Thread was used to sew the pouch.
