The Benchmade Meatcrafter 15500OR-2 hunting knife is extremely sharp, designed for hunters who need a tool with extreme cutting properties. It is a knife with Full Tang design, made of hard CPM S45VN steel. It has been sharpened using the unique Benchmade Select Edge technology, thanks to which the blade has an extremely even structure ensuring a precise cut.
Meatcrafter - the name is obliging
Thanks to its construction and the technology used, Meatcrafter will be perfect for trimming hunted game. In addition, the steel used in this model is very hard (60-62 HRC), so you can take it with you for hunting, but also for the barbecue to frame larger, hard-to-cut pieces of meat.
The blade of this hunting knife has a trailing point profile, which in combination with the above-mentioned sharpening technology is very effective. It is also characterized by high resistance to blunting. The blade is covered with an orange Ceracoat coating, which is designed to protect the steel against corrosion, as well as to facilitate the location of the knife when visibility is limited in difficult, forest surroundings.
An extremely sharp hunting knife
The handle is provided with light and durable carbon fiber cladding, which is characterized by high hardness and low susceptibility to mechanical damage, and also provides a firm grip. Carbon is not here by accident as its smooth surface allows the tool to be cleaned quickly and efficiently.
High quality scabbard included with Meatcrafter
The manufacturer of this hunting knife also includes a sheath made of Kydex, thanks to which we can easily transport the knife on a belt or in a backpack. In order to facilitate the carrying of the knife and to protect it against accidental loss, both the sheath and the handle are equipped with holes that allow paracord to be threaded through them.
