The Sidewinder Military tactical flashlight is a light and versatile light source, equipped with four-color LEDs. The durable, polymer casing allows the head to be rotated over 180° and can be mounted on a vest, or through dedicated mounts, on a helmet or headband.
Light in four colors, each in five modes
The flashlight shines with white, blue, red and infrared lights. The emitters are C4 LED for white color, 5 mm LEDs for colors and 5 mm IR LED for infrared. The flashlight is operated with a rubber button-switch and a color selection ring. It is operated by pulling it back and twisting it as indicated. It has a pronounced tooth for easy gripping and handling, also when wearing tactical gloves.
Each color has 5 modes. 4 are different levels for continuous light and 1 is strobe signal mode. Switching between the intensity of the continuous mode is done by holding the switch, and switching the signal mode on is done by pressing the button twice quickly, from the off position. To make sure that the IR mode has been turned off, there is a mark on the side of the head that indicates the position of the knob in the off mode.
Proven military flashlight
The flashlight has a polymer body, characterized by lightness and high durability. Meets the MIL-STD-810F 512.4 durability standard and has IPX7 tightness class. This guarantees resistance to falls from a height of 3 meters and immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. The diode is protected by polycarbonate glass, resistant to cracks and scratches.
On the back there is a metal buckle that allows you to attach the flashlight to MOLLE straps, a belt, or a pocket. When using dedicated mounts, the flashlight can be hung on flexible headbands or ECH, ACH, MICH, and PASGT helmets.
The head of the flashlight rotates 185° so it can be used as an angle flashlight. The handle is covered with a non-slip texture, which allows you to hold it with a dirty or sweaty hand.
Selectable power source and proven quality
The power source is two AA batteries. These can be alkaline or lithium cells. Lithium cells allow for extended operation in extreme temperature conditions (-40°C to 60°C). The battery compartment cover is closed with a knob and secured with an O-ring and a wire to prevent loss. The flashlight is tested according to ANSI / NEMA FL 1-2009 standards.
