The NiteCore Thumb flashlight is a lightweight, waterproof and functional flashlight in the form of a key ring. Equipped with two light sources: white and red. It is ideally suited as an E.D.C. flashlight. The functionality of this flashlight has been appreciated by police officers from 15 countries around the world.
Materials and workmanship
The NiteCore Thumb has a body made of polycarbonate and two LEDs: a front white High Performance LED and a rear red RED LED. The LEDs have a maximum power of respectively: 85 lumens and 0.25 lumens. The head with the front LED is rotatable by 120 degrees. On the other hand, on the bottom of the flashlight you will find a place to attach a key holder. All this is complemented by an IP65 waterproof rating. A clip is also included, allowing you to create a makeshift headlamp, or to mount the flashlight, for example, on the edge of a sweatshirt pocket.
Operating modes and power supply
The flashlight has four modes for the white LED and two modes for the red LED. Silicone side buttons are used to switch modes. The built-in 220 mAh lithium-ion battery is responsible for the power supply, equipped with modern APC protection, thanks to which the flashlight, after charging, maintains a standby state for up to a year. The battery will be charged thanks to the built-in Micro-USB port.
