Lyman - Die Set Pro with Micrometer Dials - Caliber 40 S&W 10 mm - 7701008
Die Set Pro with Micrometer Dials Caliber 40 S&W 10 mm Lyman 7701008
The Lyman die set is made of stainless steel for corrosion resistance and long-lasting use. It is designed for elaboration of .40 Smith & Wesson / 10 mm caliber ammunition and is compatible with 7/8"-14 threaded presses. Micrometric diles allow precise setting of parameters, which allows for repeatable preparation of cartridges.
The sizing die restores the full diameter and profile of the shell neck, preparing it for the subsequent bullet seating process. The seating die allows for accurate bullet depth adjustment using a micrometer dial. The floating arbor centers the bullet in the shell, minimizing axial deviation and ensuring the repeatability of each cartridge.
The shell neck flare die gently widens the shell exit, facilitating bullet insertion and preparing the shell for proper seating. The shell neck crimping die, in turn, exerts controlled pressure on the bullet, stabilizing it in the shell and preventing it from moving in the magazine or during firing.
The kit enables comprehensive ammunition preparation, maintaining precision and repeatability of the process. The elaboration press dice can be successfully stored in the ammunition container.
