A set of Lyman dies compatible with 7/8"-14 threaded presses, designed for elaboration of ammunition in .45 ACP caliber. The set includes a sizing die, a seating die with a self-centering pin, a die for expanding the shell neck exit, and a die for crimping the shell neck, allowing for a complete cartridge elaboration cycle.
The sizing die restores the diameter and profile of the shell, removing deformations caused by shooting or previous operations. The seating die is equipped with a micrometric screw allows for accurate bullet depth adjustment. The self-centering arbor reduces axial deviation and improves seating repeatability.
The bullet neck flare die gently widens the bullet neck to facilitate bullet insertion. The shell neck crimping die applies controlled pressure, stabilizing the position of the bullet in the shell and limiting its movement during storage and firing. The elaboration press matrix can be successfully stored in the ammunition container.
