Stormrider is a recoilless airgun, powered by compressed air (PCP) from a built-in cartridge. This model, through to its performance and high repeatability of shots, will be great as an introduction to professional shooting.

Efficient cartridge in a PCP airgun

TheDiana PCP Stormrider fires a pellets using compressed air stored in a steel cartridge with a capacity of 100 cm³. With the cartridge filled to its maximum (200 Bar), it can fire about 100 shots with the same initial velocity of 320 m/s. The pressure in the cartridge can be easily verified, through to an integrated pressure gauge. A plug-mounted quick-release coupler is included to allow air to be shunted from the HP cylinder.

The stock, with a classic character, was made of oiled beech wood. On the pistol grip and the bed the manufacturer applied aesthetic checkering, which increases grip and gives it an elegant style. The 38 mm wide bed is very slim, and the whole thing has a low weight of 2.3 kg, so women and teenagers can successfully shoot it. The Monte Carlo-type stock with a high restpad enables the use of large-diameter shooting scopes and provides comfortable aiming for both right-handed and left-handed shooters. There is a soft rubber foot on the end of the stock, allowing the carbine to rest comfortably and stably on the shoulder.

Soft and easy to feel trigger system in the airgun

The Stormrider PCP airgun uses a single-action trigger mechanism with a weight of ~1.3 kg. This makes the trigger of the carbine soft, easy to feel and predictable, which significantly affects the precision and repeatability of shots. Within the bail there is a manual safety responsible for the safety of use. The carbine is equipped with a musket and a two-dimensionally adjustable scimitar, however it is also possible to mount an optical sight using an 11mm-wide mounting rail. In the case of mounting a telescopic sight, the scope should be removed beforehand.

The carbine has a threaded barrel as long as 480 mm, which positively affects the accuracy and repeatability of shots. At the end of the barrel there is a sound suppressor that reduces the sound of the shot. Along with the PCP Stormrider carbine, the user receives an aluminum rotary magazine with a capacity of 9 rounds. The magazine is magnetically secured after it is inserted into the breech. A small four-barrel lever is used to reload the shotgun. Such a solution increases the rate of fire and allows the user to fire consecutive shots without taking his eyes off the target.

Diana 3-9x40 1" AO Duplex is a spotting scope equipped with parallax adjustment made of anodized aircraft aluminum. The spotting scope is resistant to evaporation due to its nitrogen-filled sealed design, and its lenses are coated with anti-reflective coating giving a sharp, bright and clear image while increasing light transmission. The Diana 3-9x40 1" AO Duplex has a variable magnification of 3 to 9 with a 40mm objective lens, which provides optimal brightness and allows comfortable shooting even in limited light conditions. The scope is also equipped with the well-known and popular Duplex reticle - valued for its versatility as it allows both precision and dynamic shooting. All adjustments on the Diana 3-9x40 are made with covered drums and their click is noticeable and loud.</p

It also comes with a magnetic single-shot cartridge that allows you to properly insert the round into the chamber without worrying about distortion and jamming. The manufacturer recommends using only half-round or flat diabolo shot for proper operation of the airgun.
