The T4E HDB 68 shotgun is a shortened version of the T4E SG-68 model, proven in recreational and training use. The new model is stylized on the iconic Franchi SPAS 12 semi-automatic shotgun.
RAM shotgun, stylized as a cult weapon
It shoots .68 (17.3 mm) caliber bullets and has a magazine capacity of 16 rounds. The magazine, of tubular construction, is loaded from the bottom. T4E HDB 68 is a semi-automatic weapon. A large magazine capacity, combined with intuitive operation, allows you to shoot many rounds in a short time.
Powered by a CO2 capsule, with the possibility of quick activation
The drive for the bullets is a single 12 g CO2 capsule, located in the pistol grip. The characteristic feature is the presence of a capsule quick puncture system, which allows the shotgun to be stored with an inserted, but still unopened cartridge, no time limit. It has the form of a tang protruding from the bottom, which should be struck to pierce the capsule quickly and easily when needed, making the weapon ready for use. The shotgun has a push-button safety, which blocks the hammer-trigger mechanism, during storage, transport, and carrying.
Self-defense shotgun available without permission
The bullets leave the barrel with an initial velocity of up to 70 m/s. The effective range is up to 20 meters, and the total range is up to almost 40 meters. The kinetic energy of the bullets is below 16 J, thanks to which the shotgun is available without registration or permits.
The construction of the shotgun is made of light metal alloys and polymer. The front and the pistol grip are made of plastic, and the basic elements, i.e. the barrel, receiver, magazine, trigger mechanism, sights, and muzzle device are made of metal.
Rails for attaching any accessories
A Picatinny rail is located on the top, for mounting of, for example, red dot sights and similar accessories. By default, mechanical sights are mounted on it, in the form of a fixed front sight and a flip aperture rear sight. An additional rail is located on the side of the handguard. On the sides of the frontguard there are additional mounting holes in the M-LOK system, enabling the installation of compatible accessories, such as flashlight mounts or laser sights, or tactical sling mounts.
